Sacred Heart

The statue of Our Lord atop the church of Sacred Heart overlooks the Termini train station in Rome. Pope Leo XIII asked St. John Bosco to come to Rome to raise money to build this church, and there is a plaque next to an altar on the left side of the church, near the front, which commemorates St. John Bosco’s saying Mass there.
